Can Open Water Divers night dive?
Yes, but proper training will make your first night dive more enjoyable. You’ll learn how to navigate in the dark, where the most interesting creatures hang out, and gain night diving tips from your instructor.
Before the course: You complete 2-4 hours of online learning to understand basic principles of Night diving. This is issued to you upon sign up and then you can complete the dive theory in your own time. During the course: With your instructor you will complete 4x night dives over 2 days. You'll practice underwater navigation at night and learn how to find entry and exit points in the dark. Your instructor will share night diving tips, teach you how to stay in contact with your buddy, and avoid disorientation.
